GPM kan er niks aan doen, de fout ligt bij Nicholson McLaren Engines. Na de laaste race in Qatar heeft men enkele verbeteringen uitgevoerd aan die stokoude motoren  .
Dankzij de jongens op de werkvloer is de race gered, het management van Nicholson McLaren Engines laat echter wat steekjes vallen, zo valt te lezen op autosport.com
GPM race operations director Bob Berridge haalt de woorden van Nicholson McLaren Engines chairman John Nicholson keihard onderuit. Dit zal nog wel een staartje krijgen.
