De verklaring van het circuit zelf is nogal redelijk optimistisch, het kan weleens heel anders lopen!

De nieuwe lokatie kan eventueel ook de huidige lokatie zijn.

blijkbaar plannen ze er een ronde van de dsc als ik dat zo zie . Ze zijn nog wel een stukje asfalt vergeten.

Mooi, Venray is minder lang rijden dan Warneton voor mij en de baan lijkt mij beter geschikt voor de krachtige auto's.

Uit dagblad de limburger

Pinksteren
Vergunning voor races op circuit

Ysselsteyn
Tijdens Pinksteren wordt er weer geracet op circuit De Peel bij Ysselsteyn .
De gemeente heeft organisator Harry Maessen daarvoor een vergunning verleend .
De laatste races op het race-ovaal vonden in Augustes 2010 plaats .
Maessen is blij met de goedkeuring.
Vlak voor Pasen schrapte hij nog eigenhandig de geplande paas-races .
Reden: het calimiteitenplan deugde niet meer helemaal.
Dat is bijgewerkt en klopt nu helemaal.
Het is lastig om het nu nog onderuit te halen", stelt Maessen.
De kans op bezwaren blijft echter aanwezig , omdat de vergunning ter inzage ligt .
Maessen heeft goede hoop dat dit niet gebeurt: hij onderhandelt momenteel met omwonenden over het toekomstig gebruik van De Peel.
"ik heb ze de garantie gegeven dat er minder evenementen zullen plaatsvinden dan ik eigenlijk met de milieuvergunning mag.
Het is nu aan de omwonenden om daar wat van te vinden.
